Over the past few months, we’ve come to grips with the fact the United States men’s soccer team will wear these country club-like polos during the World Cup. But some of us waited with hopes the away jersey would be a little better.
Those dreams were realized yesterday when these babies were unveiled.
Not since Joseph’s amazing technicolor dream coat has a garment announced its arrival with such eye-blinding authority. Surely other countries will fold, wilt and wither at the very sight of these babies.
That’s the hope, at least.
