Netflix has dropped the first trailer for the third season of their acclaimed sports-focused docuseries Untold, which first launched back in 2021.

The upcoming batch of episodes will highlight Jake Paul’s rise through the boxing world, Johnny Manziel’s time at Texas A&M, and the steroid scandal with Victor Conte’s BALCO, which infamously involved the likes of Jason Giambi and Barry Bonds.

Check out the official synopsis and trailer for “volume three” of Untold below, via Netflix:

Each character-driven story hinges on candid, intimate first-person accounts from those who lived it – to reveal the grit, resilience, heartbreak, triumph, and even humor beneath the sweat. Viewers are taken on a journey with Jake Paul as he aims to revolutionize the fight world, witness the rise and fall of Johnny Manziel, and delve into the dark web spun by Victor Conte and Balco, entangling top athletes in a steroid controversy.

Additionally, season three of Untold also includes what Netflix says is “the definitive account” of Urban Meyers’ and Tim Tebow’s Florida Gators teams that won the College Football National Championship in 2006 and 2008.

Lastly, the definitive account of the Florida Gators’ astonishing college football journey from 2005 to 2010, featuring Coach Urban Meyer and star players like Tim Tebow, Brandon Siler, and Brandon Spikes, is finally unveiled.

Volume 3 of Untold will release on Tuesday, August 1.

Volume 1 of Untold, which was released back in 2021, had five episodes that detailed: the Malice at the Palace debacle, Christy Martin’s professional boxing career, Bruce and later Caitlyn Jenner’s life, a story about The Danbury Trashers (a defunct UHL team), and Mardy Fish’s career as a professional tennis player.

The second volume of episodes, released in 2022, included four episodes. Those episodes detailed Manti Te’o getting catfished, the rise and fall of AND1, the NBA gambling scandal surrounding former ref Tim Donaghy, and a story about the Australian yacht crew at the 1983 America’s Cup.
