Penn State banished USC's band to the worst seat in the house.
The USC Trojans took down Penn State on the road in Big Ten football action on Saturday. Players celebrated with band members after the fact.
Construction at Beaver Stadium provided the USC band an opportunity for revenge after being banished to the worst seats in the venue. It made for an incredible postgame scene.
Penn State fans were sandwiched between a Trojans’ celebration as they attempted to exit the stadium. A persistent USC band refused to be ignored.

The Spirit of Troy Marching Band is one of the nation’s best. The program has been featured in a variety of music videos and commercials dating back more than five decades. It is Hollywood’s band.
The band is loud. It also travels to most every contest. It does not matter if that game is being played 2,500 miles away on the other side of the country.
The Spirit of Troy provides a rallying call to the USC football team. Penn State looked to quiet their impact on Saturday night.
The Nittany Lions stuck the marching band in a small corner of the upper deck behind the endzone. There couldn’t have been a further seat from the action.
Trojan fans will make noise from any corner of the stadium. 🫡

The location is the definition of nosebleeds. You can barely see them from the sidelines. Check out band members’ view of the field below.

Penn State tried to hide the USC marching band during the game. The Trojans made sure they were heard after a 31-23 victory. Stadium construction allowed that message to get directly to the Nittany Lions.
USC’s locker room celebration goes viral.
The Trojans walked into a Penn State whiteout and left with a conference win. After falling behind early in the second half, the visitors scored 14 of the game’s final 17 points to pull away.
As players made their way to the locker room, they were met by the USC band. The postgame scene was awesome.

This is quintessential college football. You can’t beat it!
The Spirit of Troy had more than a few Penn State fans in hell as attendees were forced to walk between the band and USC players on their way out of the venue. Others appeared to enjoy the moment.

Penn State tried to mute the USC band. The Trojans refused to be quiet. They got revenge with a postgame celebration after being stuck in the nosebleeds for four hours. We’ll see if the favor is repaid next year should the Nittany Lions’ band want to travel to Los Angeles.
