The Utah Utes had another strong season clinching the Pac-12 Championship in back-to-back years. However, all eyes have been on Cameron Rising since the season ended.

Well, it sounds like the talented quarterback has finally made his decision. At the very least, the fans should be ecstatic with this announcement.

In a sick video created and shared by the Utah football program, Cameron Rising announces he will return for the 2023 season. The Utes have been rather dominant during his tenure with the program. So this is fantastic news for the team moving forward. Give the video a watch below!

The 2022 season was Cameron Rising’s best yet. He finished the year with 3,034 passing yards, 26 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. His additional 465 yards and six touchdowns on the ground made him a dominant force in Utah’s offense. They’ll be happy to have him back for one more season.

Especially considering the Utes have a chance to win a third consecutive Pac-12 title. They’ll have their hands full with USC, UCLA, and the Oregon Ducks. Additionally, Colorado received a massive boost after hiring Deion Sanders as head coach.

So, although it won’t be an easy journey, Utah will have a fighting shot to remain on top of the Pac-12. Cameron Rising is an exciting player that just seems to get the job done. He’s a great fit for this program and the fanbase should be over the moon with Rising’s return.
