Video Appears To Show Lions May Have Gotten Screwed By Refs On Controversial Ineligible Receiver Call On Two-Point Conversion

ESPN

We now have a video before the huge controversial call in the Lions Cowboys game.

Late in the fourth quarter, the Lions were able to get a touchdown and cut the Cowboys lead down to one point. Lions head coach Dan Campbell decided to go for it, and while successful, the play was called back due to the offensive lineman Taylor Decker not reporting as an eligible receiver.

Video evidence appears to show Decker talking to the referee before the play which implies that he reported as an eligible receiver.

Another video shows Lions QB Jared Goff telling Decker to report to the ref.

Here’s another look at Decker talking to the ref before the play.

A furious Campbell says that Decker #68 reported, but the ref claims #70 reported

Update: Decker claims he reported to the ref.
