A Minnesota fan is going viral after being spotted interacting with players after a pair of touchdown plays. In one moment, the attendee was seen celebrating with a Vikings player and in the next, he was disrespecting the opposing Giants.

Cameras caught the same fan in both moments, causing many on social media to react. Here’s what happened leading up to that viral moment.

The young fan was seated at field level in a suite behind the goalposts. That location gave him a front row seat for many of the game’s scoring plays. On one of those touchdowns, in particular, viewers saw the fan reacting to a New York score that gave the G-men a first quarter lead.

Isaiah Hodgins reeled in a Daniel Jones pass in the endzone to give New York their first lead of the game at 14-7. The Giants wide receiver celebrated that score by chucking the football at the stadium wall and walking up to the fans seated in the front row. More specifically, he strutted up to this youngster, who quickly gave Hodgins the double birds.

But he wasn’t done. The same fan made another cameo just a short time later as he was gifted a game ball by Minnesota wide receiver KJ Osborn. Osborn hauled in a touchdown reception of his own, and quickly celebrated with the young fan.

That TD cut the Giants’ lead to 17-14 just before the halftime break. After seeing the pair of television appearances made by the Minnesota fan, folks on social media began posting responses.

One NFL viewer wrote, “Headline should read, Rude kid gets a losing ball.” Others agreed with that viewpoint.

This fan commented, “Poor sportsmanship is being rewarded.”

When all was said and done, the fan might’ve gotten what he deserved. Minnesota’s season came to an end with a 31-24 loss at home, ending yet another opportunity to win the franchise’s first ever Super Bowl.
