One of the most shocking results of the NFL’s Week 9 slate over the weekend was the Minnesota Vikings besting the Atlanta Falcons despite having to start Joshua Dobbs, who they acquired from the Arizona Cardinals in a trade *this week*, at quarterback.

Despite having only been with the team for a few days and not knowing most of his teammates’ names, and losing offensive weapons Without Hall, wide receiver K.J. Osborn and running back Cam Akers to injury, Josh Dobbs will still be able to lead the Vikings to a 31-28 victory, which included a last-minute game-winning touchdown pass.

Given the nature of the victory and the four-game winning streak the team is on, Vikings fans were obviously thrilled with both the result and the grit their team showed, particularly Dobbs.

One fan on Twitter, however, may have gotten a little too excited as he shared a video of himself shaving both of his eyebrows because “It’s Dobbs season!” Making the video even more surreal is the fact that Creed’s semi-ironic classic “Higher” is playing in the background.

After coming into the game following an injury to Jarren Hall in the first quarter, Dobbs completed 20 of 30 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns. He also carried the ball seven times for 66 yards and another score.

While the Vikings unfortunately lost Akers to an apparent Achilles tear, Osborn’s injury was a concussion, meaning he’ll likely be back in a week or two. The Vikings are also expecting Pro Bowl wide receiver Justin Jefferson to return from injury any week now, even potentially this weekend for their home matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Following their win over the Falcons, the Vikings now find themselves second in the NFC North at 5-4 behind the 6-2 Minnesota Vikings.

Not only do the Vikings still have two games left to play against the Lions, but they both come in the final three weeks of the season (Week 15 on December 24 and Week 17 on January 7), meaning they’ll likely be crucial in deciding the winner of the division.
