A big of a bummer for Vikings fans, the team is making a move to place their star wide receiver, Justin Jefferson, on injured reserve.

This comes after he hobbled off the field with a hamstring injury during Sunday’s game against the Chiefs. according to NFL Insider Tom Pelissero.

Thing is, we don’t have an exact timeline yet for when Jefferson will be back in action. It all hinges on how he responds to treatment, per the report. But he’ll be out for at least the next four games.

The Vikings upcoming games are against the Bears, 49ers, Packers, and Falcons in the next four matchups. A challenging stretch considering they’re already 1-4.

Justin Jefferson, at just 24 years old, has set the NFL world on fire to begin his career. He’s racked up a whopping 5,396 receiving yards in just 55 games. With an average of 15.0 yards per catch and 28 touchdowns. He’s pretty much the engine that keeps the Vikings offense chugging along.

The big question now is – with Jefferson sidelined for a while and the season already not looking so good, will the Vikings just blow it up and start trading away players while their price is high? only time will tell.
