All eyes have been on the Minnesota Vikings all as rumors have surrounded Dalvin Cook all offseason.
Now, it seems the front office has made it’s final decision on the superstar running back.
According to Adam Schefter, the Vikings are going to try and trade Dalvin Cook one more time. If a deal cannot be reached, then the franchise will release him from the team.

This is a big move for Minnesota, as they’re officially moving on from their superstar running back. It’s believed Alexander Mattison will take on the starting role, while Ty Chandler and rookie Dewayne McBride compete for the backup spot.
Also, two teams are already standing out as potential suitors for Dalvin Cook. The Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos are reportedly teams to monitor, per Schefter.

In the end, this is a decision many football fans expected the Vikings to make, however, they’re still a bit shocked to see Dalvin Cook leaving Minnesota.

Cook’s contract isn’t too enticing. However, a team attempting to make a Super Bowl run might think otherwise.
A team that doesn’t want to compete with anyone else in the league.

We’ll have to wait and see how it plays out. Maybe someone will offer a deal the Vikings can’t refuse. However, it seems more likely the Vikings will cut Dalvin Cook instead.
With Cook being released, there are still plenty of exciting names available this late in the offseason.
Look for more updates regarding Dalvin Cook. He could be on a new team sooner, rather than later.
