Vin Scully Told A Touching Story About The Late Jose Fernandez During His Last Game Broadcasting The Dodgers

Broadcasting legend Vin Scully worked his final game in the booth for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday as the baseball world was in mourning over the loss of Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez.

And as he has done countless times since he began working for the Dodgers in 1950 once again Vin Scully told a poignant, touching story as only he can, this time about Fernandez, who died tragically on Sunday morning.

While discussing the circumstances of Fernandez’s death Scully mentioned his memory of a tweet he had seen Jose post back in 2015 that shed a little light on what kind of man Fernandez was at such a young age.
