It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Lakers are struggling, especially from the three-point line. However, many are trying to figure out exactly how to fix the problem. Well, it sounds like NBA legend Vince Carter has an idea. Apparently, he believes it’s up to Anthony Davis instead of LeBron James.
Vince Carter Pinpoints Specific Area For Anthony Davis To Help Improve Lakers Scoring
During an appearance on Get Up, Carter shared his opinion on what’s transpiring in LA. He points out that Anthony Davis isn’t getting to the foul line very often, which means the team is simply settling for threes. For that reason, Vince Carter proclaims Anthony Davis must play much more aggressively for the Lakers to turn things around.

Carter makes a valid point. Especially considering Davis is much younger than LeBron James. You’d think Anthony Davis would be more willing to carry the workload, especially in the beginning portion of the Lakers season.
The NBA is played beyond the arc these days. However, if Los Angeles hopes to get back on track before the train completely derails, they should consider going back to the basics. An aggressive Anthony Davis is incredibly difficult to stop and could be the missing component for the Lakers to succeed.
We’ll see how it plays out, but it’s as bright as day that LA needs to make a change offensively. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Well, it’s time for the Lakers to stop being crazy thing season.
Perhaps Vince Carter’s suggestion could turn things around for this club. However, we won’t know that for sure until Los Angeles attacks the rim more often.
