When it comes to branding, the Alabama Crimson Tide have built a football program that is recognized internationally for its greatness. At the helm, of course, is Nick Saban.

As a result of the consistent success and name recognition, Tuscaloosa brings in quite a few high-profile visitors each year. The most recent visit took place on Tuesday.

Wale, the recording artist, songwriter and rapper who hails from Washington D.C., stopped by the team facility to see what all of the hype is about. Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Bryce Young, who Wale said is one of the most humble people he knows, showed him around and he was rather impressed.

Wale was in awe by how nice the team facility actually is.

And you know he even hit the Heisman pose in front of the trophy wall.

While on campus, Wale shared a hilarious encounter with the head honcho. He and Saban were introduced to one another by Young and the Grammy-nominated artist was admittedly a little bit nervous.

Saban, who is known for his dry, simple, well-timed sense of humor proceeded to break the ice. He cracked a simple one-liner that had everyone in the room laughing.

Alabama is Alabama for a reason, and the talent that it attracts both on and off of the field speaks for itself. But imagining Wale, Nick Saban and Bryce Young laughing together in the head coach’s office is quite the image. What a time to be alive.
