It took a little bit of time for Steph Curry to find his footing after he was selected by the Warriors with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. However, it’s safe to say the franchise’s decision to give the Davidson standout a few years to come into his own worked out pretty well for a Golden State team that’s won four championships thanks in no small part to the talents of one of the best shooters to ever pick up a basketball.

Over the course of the 13 full seasons he’s played so far, Curry has added a staggering number of achievements to a Hall of Fame résumé that includes that quartet of titles as well as:

  • Two NBA MVP Awards
  • One NBA Finals MVP
  • Eight All-Star Game selections
  • Two scoring titles
  • Four All-NBA First-Team honors

The superstar has subsequently added plenty of hardware to an increasingly crowded trophy case—although he’s apparently had a little bit of trouble keeping track of every single award.

Curry’s deadly accuracy beyond the arc is undoubtedly his biggest asset, and it shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that his silky shot helps also him fair pretty well at the free-throw line. The sniper has posted a shooting percentage of .909 from the charity stripe during his career, and there have been four campaigns where he’s finished with the highest conversion rate in the league.

That includes the 2017-18 season that ended with the NBA sending him a small glass trophy to commemorate the achievement. However, Curry somehow managed to lose track of that award at some point in time before he was reunited with it on Thursday courtesy of Ryan Channels, a memorabilia collector who managed to track it down after following a lead concerning its whereabouts.

Curry is undoubtedly more concerned with some slightly more prestigious pieces of hardware, but he still hopped on Twitter to thank Channels for getting his hands on the trophy before returning it.

You love to see it.
