The Washington Capitals stole home-ice advantage from the New York Rangers last night thanks to Joel Ward’s last-second goal. The timely heroics caused great jubilation for the Caps and that joy took the form of some good, clean player-on-player kissing.

Alexander Ovechkin, man. He’s a different type of dude.

The terrific Dan Steinberg points out that this isn’t the first time the Caps have celebrated an important postseason goal by smooching.
