We know that people get geeked up about who the next big NFL star might be and how fast a guy can run a 40-yard dash in, but the fact of the matter is this—the NFL Combine is nothing but a puppet show for freak athletes to put their skills on display. Point blank: It’s useless.

We’re not trying to take away anything from those who can lift the weight of a bulldozer over their head, run like a gazelle or give all the right answers when interviewed, but as history has shown us, great results from the combine don’t always translate to future success in the NFL.
