Hollywood superstar Zendaya attended a California high school football game Friday night, and, naturally, being such a unique occurrence, videos and images of her at the game quickly spread online.
In a shock to many, Zendaya, famous for her roles in movies and shows like Spider-Man and Euphoria, was spotted at Folsom High School watching the Bulldogs play Del Oro High School.
But the 30-year-old actress wasn’t there just to watch high school football.
Zendaya, who was born in nearby Oakland and spent much of her youth there, was also at the game to support her nephew, E.J. Coleman, a linebacker at Folsom with serious college prospects.

This wasn’t your typical Friday night high school football experience, and based on the videos that went viral online, Zendaya seemed to be having a good time.
According to the New York Post, Zendaya was seen at halftime dancing and singing along to Oasis ‘ hit “Wonderwall” as it played over the stadium speakers.
Several fans who recognized the two‑time Emmy Award winner reportedly approached Zendaya throughout the game, and she happily greeted them with hugs.
Zendaya also posed for a group photo with the Folsom High School cheerleading squad. Coleman later shared a picture of himself with his aunt on Instagram after the game.
Zendaya’s Nephew Helps Folsom Remain Undefeated
While Zendaya drew attention in the stands, it was her nephew E.J. Coleman who made an impact on the field.
According to the Folsom Times, Coleman intercepted a pass from Del Oro quarterback Luke Taber, helping Folsom mount a comeback. The Bulldogs eventually took a 42‑35 lead in the fourth quarter. Del Oro then scored another touchdown with eight seconds left.
Fortunately for Folsom, Del Oro missed the extra point. The miss gave the Bulldogs a 42‑41 win and kept them undefeated at 9‑0 after their final home game of the regular season.
According to 247Sports, E.J. Coleman, six feet tall and 195 pounds, is a three‑star recruit who committed to Washington State in May. He also received scholarship offers from colleges like San Diego State, Oregon State, UNLV and San Jose State.
After appearances in The Odyssey and Spider‑Man: Brand New Day this year, Zendaya is scheduled to reprise her role as Chani in Dune: Part Three in December.
