Wil Myers celebrated his team’s playoff win over the Dodgers in the best way imaginable. The Padres’ slugger was spotted bar hopping and buying shots for fans in San Diego.

The Padres landed a huge NLDS series win against division rival Los Angeles, a team that led the MLB in wins throughout the regular season. In fact, San Diego went just 5-14 versus the Dodgers prior to the playoffs.

That doesn’t matter in October, though. After just four games, the Pads find themselves headed to the NLCS, just four wins away from their first World Series appearance since 1998.

Myers, who’s been playing in San Diego since 2015, has battled through five losing seasons, seeing his teams miss the playoffs in six of his first seven campaigns. He wasn’t missing out on his opportunity to paint the town red after the huge series victory.

Wil Myers and his wife, Maggie, were seen buying shots for fans at a number of San Diego bars after the win.

The infielder and his wife went out to the bars in San Diego, buying shots for patrons at every stop. He even got behind the bar on a few occasions.

He, like all Padres fans, was ecstatic to see his team land a huge win over a Los Angeles franchise that’s had its number over the years. They’ve now taken down two of the top three National League World Series contenders in the Dodgers and Mets.

Myers has only hit .087 in postseason play, going 2-for-23 over his previous six games. He did pick up both of those hits in this series win over LA, including a home run. He’ll hope that trend continues in the NLCS against the Phillies.

For now, though, he’ll enjoy this moment.
