It’s customary for hockey goalies to wear a frightening mask in order to intimidated his opponents. And “frightening” means different things to different people.
Looking at the mugs of the Trailer Park Boys is certainly unpleasant for some. So it’s really only a matter of time until a goalie decides to don this sick tribute from David Arrigo.
Although, I’m not sure how the NHL feels about guns on a players’ person. Roger Goodell, for instance, would probably suspend the offending player for life. Then again, Gary Bettman seems slightly more chill.
Let’s hope it comes to that.
