Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd on the court
WNBA’s Paige Bueckers & Azzi Fudd are no longer a couple.
After dating rumors swirled in college, many assumed Bueckers and Fudd were still together after becoming teammates last season.
At the time, Bueckers refused to answer questions about her relationship with Fudd.
“Me and Azzi have always been the utmost professional. We’ve always conducted ourselves as such, and we’ve never let anything that happens off the court carry onto the court. That’s what we continue to do,”
On Friday, Fudd and Bueckers announced they had broken up.

Bueckers revealed that she and Fudd were already broken up before the start of the season.
“To share that now everybody’s gonna be like, ‘Oh my gosh they’re teammates. How is this going to work?’” Bueckers explained. “We were not together before she got drafted so all those narratives can go to bed. She was not drafted because she was my girlfriend. She was drafted because she deserved it.”
“She’s an amazing human, an amazing basketball player,” she continued. “We’re still friends, we’re still cool. We broke up over a year ago, so we played an entire season together. We’re the utmost professional. We care about basketball.”
