Women’s Boxer Who Flashed Crowd Removed From Upcoming Fight After Backlash

KINGPYN BOXING

Model turned boxer Daniella Hemsley will not be boxing on DAZN anytime soon.

Over the weekend, Hemsley went viral after she flashed the crowd after her win during the Kingpyn boxing tournament which aired on the streaming platform DAZN.

While speaking with Boxing Social, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn said he felt that Hemsley’s actions hurt women’s boxing, and he believes the boxing community should dissociate themselves from gimmick boxing organizations like Kingyn and Misfits.

“My opinion is that I hate it, we’ve worked so hard for women in boxing to be respected for their ability, for their merits, for their hard work, one thing we must understand, is that ain’t boxing and that needs to be pushed, all that stuff Misfits, Kingpyn it needs to be booted so far away from professional boxing and we really need to dissociate ourselves with what it is”

Days after the fight, Kingpyn boxing released a statement apologizing for the incident and revealed that Hemsley has been removed from their next fight card.
