Jason Kelce Helps Rey Mysterio To Victory With Cameo Appearance At WrestleMania 40

Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce didn’t take long to find work after retiring from the NFL last month.

With WrestleMania 40 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Kelce took the opportunity to get in on the fun.

The future Pro Football Hall of Fame made a cameo appearance in a match featuring WWE legend Rey Mysterio and partner Andrade against Santos Escobara and Mysterio’s (real-life) son Dominik.

Late in the match, it looked like Dominik Mysterio was attempting to grab a steel chair to use against his father. But when he grabbed the chair, two (large) masked figures cut him off at the path.

One of the figures snatched chair from Mysterio’s hands before the other tossed the wrestler into the metal ring post. The second masked man then threw Mysterio back in the ring, where Rey Mysterio hit him with a splash off the top rope.

After the match, both the men rolled into the ring and removed their masks, revealing themselves to Kelce and former teammate Lane Johnson.

Fans both in attendance and online loved the moment.

Something tells us this was a life-long dream of Kelce. But we can’t imagine Kylie Kelce wants him to make it a full-time job anytime soon.
