Zach Wilson’s Little Brother Isaac Threw The Lights Out In His High School Debut As A Starting QB

Corner Canyon High School

Isaac Wilson is a near-splitting image of his big brother and New York Jets franchise quarterback Zach Wilson both in terms of looks and athleticism. The four-star quarterback in the Class of 202 is the youngest brother of the Wilson family and began his junior season as the starter at Corner Canyon over the weekend.

Isaac stands 6-foot-0, 170 pounds and has a long way to go in his high school career. However, his ceiling is extremely high and he has picked up offers from nine D-I schools, including multiple FBS offers.

Wilson already has scholarship offers from San Diego State, Miami, Brigham Young, Oregon, San Jose State, Arizona, Oregon State, Idaho State and Weber State. That list is only going to grow over the next two years.

BYU, Zach’s alma mater, has two Wilson brothers on the roster already — sophomore linebacker Josh Wilson and freshman linebacker Micah Wilson.

As of right now, it’s a fairly safe bet to assume that Isaac could head to Provo, Utah and follow in the footsteps of his big brothers. However, it is far too early to speculate beyond the Cougars.

Isaac Wilson is QB1 for Corner Canyon as a junior in 2022.

Over the past three years, Corner Canyon high school has been a quarterback powerhouse. It all started with Zach Wilson, who handed the keys off to USC-turned-Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, who handed the keys off to Ohio State freshman Devin Brown.

With a few people battling for the starting job, Isaac was expected to be named the starter after he tore up the spring and summer circuit and dropped dimes along the way. In the end, he ran away with the job in fall camp and announced his arrival during his debut as the starting quarterback with the Chargers.

Corner Canyon beat Herriman 45-7 in Week 1 of the Utah High School Activities Association season over the weekend and Isaac went off.

To make things even crazier, Wilson threw five of his touchdown passes and just short of 300 yards in the first half. He didn’t even play the fourth quarter.

Highlights from Wilson’s Corner Canyon QB1 debut make it very clear that he is going to be special. His play and his arm look just like that of his NFL quarterback big brother.

If Wilson can keep it up and follow in the shoes of his brother, Dart and Brown, he is on his way to a very successful career. Look out for Isaac Wilson.
