Isaac Wilson, the little brother of New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson, scored five total touchdowns during the Utah high school football state championship on Friday night. He finished the game with 20 carries for 160 yards and three touchdowns, and completed 15-of-23 passes for 251 yards and two scores.

His longest run of the night went 54 yards to ultimately seal the game and the state title. It was a shifty scamper that left defenders in the dust.

Isaac joked that he never wants to run that far again.

I’m gonna be honest, that was the farthest [run] of my life. I’m never doing that again.

The four-star quarterback prospect in the college football recruiting Class of 2024 is committed to play for Kyle Whittingham and the Utah Utes. It is a rather big deal for the Wilson family. It is also a big deal for his future college program.

Isaac Wilson is a baller!

Mike and Lisa, the patriarch and matriarch, went to Utah. Mike played offensive line for the Utes.

However, their alma mater did not offer Zach so he went to BYU. As did the other two Wilson brothers.

Isaac will buck the trend and is set to provide a big dual-threat spark to the offense in Salt Lake City. He finished his senior high school football season with 4,508 passing yards and 49 passing touchdowns.

That ranks fourth and 10th in state history, respectively. Isaac also added 1,270 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. His highlight tape is a treat.

Corner Canyon High School won the 6A state championship 41-27. It marked their first win in three years after back-to-back runner-up finishes in each of the past two seasons. Prior to that, the Chargers had won three-straight titles.

Largely because of Isaac Wilson, the 18th-ranked team in the country is back on top!

Isaac delivered a beautiful ball for his first touchdown of the night. His second was set up by a nice run to the edge. Perhaps the most impressive moment of the game came just before halftime.

Isaac Wilson led Corner Canyon 70 yards in just 24 seconds and capped it off with perhaps the best throw of his entire life. Everything he touched turned to gold. Utah got a good one!
