For The First Time In PGA Tour History, Players Will Have Walk-Up Music At The Zurich Classic–Here Are Their Choices

Golf is a game that emphasizes decorum and stoicism over fan experience. That’s why we won’t ever see cheerleaders posting up on the back nine or t-shirt guns rocketing apparel into the peanut gallery. But, the sport is evidently untucking its shirt and letting its hair down for the 2018 Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

The event will mark the first time that a TOUR event will feature walk-up music, allowing each of the two-man teams to choose a song as they approach the first tee at TPC Louisiana.

Check out some of the bangers, classics and snoozers the 45 teams chose, courtesy of PGATour.com:

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
