The Classic Air Jordan II ‘Melo’ And Air Jordan III ‘Triple White’ Are Back And Better Than Ever

AIR JORDAN II MELO III Triple White

Nike

Into old school, retro kicks? Well, Jordan Brand recently released two new slash old basketball shoes that you might just want to cop.

Remember the Air Jordan II PE Carmelo Anthony wore 15 seasons ago in his rookie year for the Denver Nuggets? They’re back for the first time since then, only they’ve been updated, swapping the Jumpman on the sockliner with Melo’s cursive logo, and the “23” on the tongue tab with his Denver jersey number. Featuring rich, full-grain leather and colors from the mile-high city, it’s now available to the public for the first time since 2004.

Throwing it even further back, the Air Jordan III debuted thirty years ago. THIRTY! And it too is back, also updated for today.

You’ve still got the legendary 1988 silhouette, the all-white upper and the ice-blue outsole. It still has the signature tumbled and perforated leathers, but it also now boasts a newly textured elephant print that adds an extra dimension to the look.
