For the past couple of weeks, unbeknownst to most, Reebok has been releasing new sneakers with no warning that they were about to do so (making it difficult for us to include them in our new weekly sneaker release roundup). Today is another one of those days as they unveiled a new DMX Run 10 ‘Gum.’
This new look for the DMX Run 10 features the iconic logo emblazoned on the profile along with a gum rubber outsole and an EVA midsole with “DMX moving air technology” which Reebok says transfers air underfoot for cushion that adapts to your stride. Cool.
A little Reebok trivia: The DMX Run 10 was originally released in 1997 and was created by legendary shoe designer Billy Marvin.
Another version of the Reebok DMX drops on Wednesday, August 8th at 11:00 pm CDT and that would be the sharp-looking new DMX Series 2000 x Swizz Beatz in a Mars Dust/Chalk colorway.
It too boasts the classic “DMX moving air technology,” remastered with a bold outer and a killer new lacing system. A removable EVA sockliner accommodates orthotics, while the low-cut design for freedom of motion around the ankles when you are participating in some serious athleisure.
And if you’re looking to get your kids some new kicks for the upcoming school year, Reebok is also having a BUY ONE GET ONE FREE sale using the code “SCHOOL” at checkout.
