Ranking Erlich Bachman’s Most Devastating Putdowns From ‘Silicon Valley’

The third season of HBO’s Silicon Valley kicks off tonight my excitement can be most effectively expressed with this:

If TJ Miller’s character, Erlich Bachman, tells a young child that he will rape his father, then my night was well spent and I have no regrets. I hope he doesn’t go through with it, but that crazy bastard is bound by nothing.

Also, I’m not sure how I wasn’t aware that Christopher Evan Welch, the actor who played the creepy billionaire Peter Gregory, passed away from lung cancer after shooting the first five episodes back in 2013. There was a memoriam made in his honor at the end of the credits roll after the eighth episode of season 1, but I’ve never watched Silicon Valley not debilitatingly stoned so I must have missed it.

For what it’s worth at this point, RIP Christopher.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
