The Tupac Biopic Is Finally Here And These Are A Few Reasons Why You Need To Be Excited About It

I really hope this doesn’t suck. I take comfort in the fact that I thought Straight Outta Compton was going to be a steaming pile of cow shit and it ended up being one of my favorite movies of 2015. Luckily, the film seems to pass the first checkpoint of biopics: Demetrius Shipp Jr. looks almost identical to Tupac and they smartly brought back Jamal Woolard, who also played Notorious B.I.G in the 2009 film Notorious. Although the film has had a series of debilitating road blocks in the early stages of production, it seems to have gotten back on track thanks to a hefty budget, a new director and a capable cast.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
