Jack Daniel’s Released A Limited Edition Motörhead Whiskey In Honor Of Lemmy Kilmister

The world lost a rock legend a few weeks ago when the universe took iconic Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister away from his mortal life. But the hard partying,  give-no-fucks rock god will forever live on in the hearts and minds of his countless fans.

Lemmy famously drank Jack Daniel’s like Gatorade. So it’s only fitting that the Tennessee Whiskey brand honor him with a custom batch of Jack Daniels Single Barrel Select, right

The news was leaked prematurely on the website of The Atlantic City Bottling Company. It sold out instantly. Note that Motörhead outer packaging and the nifty chain around the bottle of Single Barrel, which is how Jack commemorates bottles from a special edition batch.

Here’s the description from a cache of the item, which has been removed:

Motörhead’s hand selected batch of Jack Daniels® Single Barrel Select whiskey celebrates 40 years of the loudest rock band on this planet.

Once a privileged reserve only for the Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller – exploring the nuances of whiskey from a single barrel. Today, connoisseurs around the world can savor this experience on their own.

We have selected one that is dark, oaky, but still some corn and sweetness with that signature Jack smooth charcoal smoky finish

Raise a glass and celebrate with Motörhead and their ol’ friend Jack.

PLEASE NOTE:

THE FIRST BARREL IS LIMITED TO 288 BOTTLES.

THE PROCESS OF BARREL SELECTION TO BOTTLE TAKES APPROXIMATELY 6 TO 8 WEEKS AND WE EXPECT BARREL 1 TO SELL OUT INSTANTLY. IF THIS IS THE CASE TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTMENT THE WEB STORE HAS THE FACILITY FOR CUSTOMERS TO PRE-ORDER AND RESERVE A BOTTLE.

YOU WILL BE INFORMED ONCE NEW BARRELS ARE SELECTED AND AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING.

ENJOY AND DRINK RESPONSIBLY

MOTÖRHEAD FOR LIFE.

Little weird there isn’t a label for the bottle, eh?

I’ve never wanted a bottle of Jack so badly.
