If you’re like me and tried to purchase one of Nintendo’s Mini NES Classics when they were released last month then you were probably also butthurt like myself when these consoles sold out within a matter of seconds. When they first went on sale I was sitting on Amazon’s landing page, a page which promptly crashed from the traffic demand. Within moments I was checking Walmart.com and BestBuy.com, both of which sold out before I had a chance to get one of the Mini NES Classic Editions in my shopping cart. I felt defeated, even more so when I checked eBay to see that the consoles were already selling for several thousand dollars.

Well, as I said in the headline I’ve got some great news: more of the Nintendo Mini NES Classics will be made available for purchase before Christmas. What’s the catch? They won’t be sold online and in order to get your greasy gamer paws on one of these consoles you’ll have to schlepp it out to an actual Best Buy store and wait for one on (or before) December 20th. I say ‘before’ because you might want to camp out in front of the store depending on how serious you are about purchasing one of these.

This still isn’t cut and dry, though, because Best Buy hasn’t explicitly stated which stores they’ll be re-releasing the rest of their Nintendo Mini NES Classics at. So even if you go camp out now and wait outside of your Best Buy store for the next five days, until they go on sale December 20th, there’s a chance that they might not be made available at your store.

If I were you I’d pick up the phone and start calling your local Best Buy stores until someone gives you an answer on whether or not they’ll be sold there and then I’d go get in line.

The Mini Nintendo NES Classic comes fully-loaded with 30 of the best games from our childhoods, and this is 100% the hottest Christmas gift of the year (because they didn’t make enough and demand grossly outweighs supply).

Here is a complete list of the 30 games that will come loaded on the NES Classic Edition:

Balloon Fight
Bubble Bobble
Castlevania
Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Jr.
Double Dragon II: The Revenge
