Matthew Stafford’s GF weighed in on fans booing–then some dude dropped the greatest tweet ever
Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions blew a chance at the playoffs with a home loss to the New York Giants. Fans were angry and let the team know by booing them several times during the game. Matthew Stafford’s girlfriend, Kelly Hall, responded to the booing on Twitter—then one fan dropped the greatest tweet ever.
DROP. THE. MIC.
Nothing else needs to be said. The Lions started 6-3, had the division by the the throat, had home games against the Bucs, Ravens and Giants. They lost them all.
It’s on Jim Schwartz, it’s on Matthew Stafford, it’s on Reggie Bush—every player on that team, every coach, every front office employee contributed to that poop sandwich.
So yeah, I don’t mind a guy tweeting that. It wasn’t a personal attack, it wasn’t mean-spirited, it was just downright funny.
That’s what Twitter is for, after all.
By the way, Stafford capped off a horrible performance with a costly pick-six late in the 4th quarter. It was his 11th interception in the last 5 games.
