Bro Goes From 130 Lbs. To 170 Lbs. After Battling Anorexia Since Middle School With Amazing Transformation Photos

At 5’10” and 19 years old, Redditor LogicallySarcastic was only 130 pounds and had been struggling with anorexia since middle school. “It was honestly one of the worst periods of time in my life” he explains to r/fitness, “My dad developed Limbic Encephalitis, my brother developed testicular cancer and my grandpa died of a brain tumor all within about a year.” Feeling like food was the only thing in his life that he was able to control, LogicallySarcastic would obsess over food and calories to the point where at the peak of his eating disorder, he only weighed 110 pounds.

Everything began to turn around come his sophomore year of college, however, as he began lifting weights as a way to help himself gain weight. “It was hard at first” he writes, “I was moving toward full recovery around when I started lifting, but it was still difficult to eat everything I needed to. As a result, I didn’t do everything right for the first half year of lifting. I ate too little, worked out too much, and was way too stressed. I didn’t even have a routine I followed, I just did what one of my friends told me to do in the gym and didn’t get anywhere with it.”

After six months LogicallySarcastic finally began using PPL as his first “official” routine, and while his workouts had improved he knew he wasn’t eating enough in order to get the results he wanted. Fitting a 40/40/30 macro split into his diet, he now eats 165g protein, 400g carbs and 80g fat every day. The breakdown looks something like this:

o Breakfast:
• 3 Eggs, ½ Cup Oatmeal, Banana, Yogurt, ½ Cup Cottage Cheese, Peanut Butter
o Lunch: Something like stir-fry or Mexican-style
• Lotta Rice
• Lotta Chicken
• Veggies
• Tortilla Wrap
• Greek Yogurt
• Peanut Butter
o Shake after Workout:
• 2/3 Cup Milk
• 1 Scoop Protein Powder
• ½ Cup Oats
• Peanut Butter
• Cocoa Powder
o Dinner:
• Pasta/ Potatoes
• Chicken/ Beef
• Broccoli
• More Peanut Butter
• More tortillas
o Snacks:
• Nuts, granola, oatmeal, more peanut butter

Judging from his progress photos, it looks like LogicallySarcastic is doing better than ever these days:
