Woman Orders An Extra Beer For Her Brother Who Died Serving In Iraq, Restaurant Responds Perfectly

A woman in Washington described as a ‘military vet’ entered a Buffalo Wild Wings last week and ordered two beers, one for herself and one for her brother who died while serving in Iraq. Normally the story would end there, the woman would get her two beers, and go about her business. In the state of Washington a customer is only allowed one beer at a time. However, after recognizing the situation and applying some discretion, the Buffalo Wild Wings in Tacoma gave the woman her Blue Moon and Corona. The woman drank her Blue Moon, and afterwards the Buffalo Wild Wings picked up her tab. Here’s where things get emotional….

A Military Woman came into my work today for Lunch, she ordered a Blue Moon and a Corona, I told her she could only do…

The soldier left a note written on her receipt thanking Buffalo Wild Wings for their act of kindness, stating that the tiniest acts of generosity and warmth can make all the difference in the world to your fellow human being.

After reading the note (see below) the Buffalo Wild Wings server didn’t have the heart to pour out the full Corona that the soldier had ordered for her deceased brother who lost his life serving in Iraq, so the server placed that full beer (along with the receipt) on top of the BWW cooler, next to an American Flag.

And henceforth that full Corona will sit aside the American Flag with the note serving as a reminder that a little bit of kindness can go a long way.

ALL. THE. FEELS.
