Aaron Hernandez Got A Kick Out Of His Lawyer Forgetting His Name In His Double-Murder Trial

Aaron Hernandez is currently going for the hat trick of murder convictions. The 26-year-old is currently serving a life sentence for the murdering Odin Lloyd execution-style in an industrial park about a mile from Hernandez’s Massachusetts house in 2013. Hernandez is now on trial for allegedly shooting dead two men in their car outside a Boston club in 2012, with additional charges of armed assault and attempted murder associated with shots fired at the surviving occupants in the vehicle.

Hernandez committing these murders is all the evidence I need to be sure that CTE exists. The dude was a shoe-in to be one of the best tight ends in the league and just gifted a $40 million contract, where the fuck can you possibly muster up that much vitriol? Brain damage is that reasoning I’m sticking with.

Anyhoo, Hernandez was sitting in on his double-murder hearing with his lawyer Jose Baez (Casey Anthony’s lawyer), when the dude referred to his client as, “Aaron Rodriguez.” Rodriguez got a kick out of that, thus we can conclude that his cell mate probably has a shitty sense of humor.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
