Yanks’ Aaron Hicks Shows Us What A 105 Mile Per Hour Laser From Left Field To Home Plate Looks Like

We all have those moments when we see an athlete do something that’s so boring and typical that it makes us think that we could actually do it ourselves. While that might occur when a guy hits a weak grounder in baseball or misses a gimme layup in basketball, what New York Yankees left fielder Aaron Hicks did today isn’t something any of us could do.

That’s because Hicks fired a fucking rope from his outfield spot to home plate, gunning down baserunner Danny Valencia with a 105 mile per hour laser.

Just as impressive as the perfect throw is the fact that, according to Statcast, the 105 mile per hour throw was the fastest in MLB history!

Watch this over and over and over and tell yourself that Hicks isn’t a fucking superhero with a cannon strapped to his arm, I dare you.
