14 Years Later, Allen Iverson Was Again Asked About Practice, And Once Again His Answer Was Tremendous

It’s been 14 years since Allen Iverson dropped his infamous “practice” rant at a press conference (where he may or may not have been drunk), but don’t think that people have forgotten about it

Iverson, who was recently announced as one of the next to enter the NBA Hall of Fame, was asked once again about practice at a charity game he was hosting. And once again, Iverson’s answer was top-notch.

“Obviously you didn’t get it. Obviously you didn’t get it when I explained it, man. I thought I cleared that up. I didn’t think I’d ever get that question again. See, you might have not seen the documentary, so I’ll give you that. I’m just gonna hope you didn’t see it. You just heard me say I was the MVP. That’s the best player in the whole world. You think I can be the MVP without practicing? That’d be a bad motherf*cker”

That would indeed, Mr. Iverson. It would indeed.

I just wish someone had followed that question up with one about Jim Harbaugh wearing his jersey tucked into his khakis. I’d have loved to have heard The Answer’s opinion on that.
