It’s only Tuesday and the New England Patriots have plenty of bulletin board material against the Broncos in the lead up to their AFC championship game this weekend.
On Monday, Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall fired a shot at New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, saying Gronk is so hard to cover “cause he pushes off.” Now Marshall’s teammate, defensive-end Antonio Smith, threw some shade at Patriots QB Tom Brady.
Here’s what Smith said when he was asked whether the Broncos thought Tom Brady was a crybaby.
“That would be an accurate statement.” “I’ve never seen any quarterback look to the referee right after he gets sacked more than Brady. Every time he gets sacked he looks at the ref like, ‘You see him sack me? Was that supposed to happen? He did it a little hard. Please throw a 15-yard penalty on him. Get him fined”
Not sure if it’s a good idea to rile up Tom Brady and the Patriots but the Broncos sure seem to be enjoying the buildup to this game.
