After not posting a winning season since 2002, the Oakland Raiders were one of the greatest storylines in the NFL this year. Third year quarterback Derek Carr made a spectacularly unexpected bid at MVP with 28 touchdowns and just 6 interceptions on almost 4,000 yards passing. But a devastating leg injury Carr suffered against the Colts last week turned the 12-4 Raiders from a formidable Super Bowl contender to a team fighting to reestablish its identity in the most crucial time of the season.
But Saturday, the Houston Texans ended the Raiders best season in nearly two and a half decades after beating them 27-14 in the wild card game. No one enjoyed watching the Raiders crash and burn more than their the Denver Broncos, evident in this tweet they sent out less than an hour after the Raiders season ended.

Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall was particularly happy with the demise of a team who took a lot of shine off he and his Broncos this year.

Simmer down, Denver. You missed the playoffs a year after winning the Super Bowl. Your projecting your bruised egos.
