Mark Wahlberg Used One Of Rory McIlroy’s Golf Balls To Do What Every Golfer Dreams Of

Actor Mark Wahlberg had a day to remember out on the golf course today.

Playing at Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Beach, Ca., Wahlberg posted a photo of himself on Twitter holding up the golf ball he just hit a hole-in-one with on a 161-yard hole—and it was one that he got/stole/borrowed from four-time major champ Rory McIlroy.

Not sure when Wahlberg got himself one of McIlroy’s golf balls—presumably from Pebble Beach at a Pro-Am last month—but the ace sure got the pro golfer’s attention, as Rory tweeted back to the actor.

Ironically enough, this isn’t the first time Mark Wahlberg nearly sunk a hole-in-one this year, as he came within inches during the aforementioned Pro-Am while playing alongside Bubba Watson.

He may be solid at acting, but Mark Wahlberg appears to be hustling fools on the links, too.
