What do you get when you put Beyonce, Jay-Z, Sean Penn, Jake Gyllenhaal, Don Cheadle, Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum, Guillermo Diaz and Rashida and Kidada Jones together in a short film? You get this crazyass promo for Bey and Jay’s Run Tour.
This 3-plus minute film for their tour, based partly on the single they did together in 2013 “Part II (On the Run),” shows the couple in a crime-filled adventure wherein Beyonce runs from a cop (Emmy Rossum) as she shoots at her, featured Bey and Jay holding up a bank, and Beyonce covered in blood standing in a police lineup next to the Jones sisters Rashida and Kidada. And that’s just the short of it.
Really, the only ting about this whole Beyonce and Jay-Z tour that disappoints me so far is that rather then calling it the Run Tour, they didn’t use the name I thought they should have used: The Bey-Z Tour. C’mon. That’s pure gold, people.
