This morning at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, Texas Senator Ted Cruz announced his Presidential candidacy. Students at Liberty University — an uber conservative Christian school founded by Rev. Jerry Falwell in the 1970s — were forced to attend the event.
What were they doing in those seats while Cruz delivered his announcement speech? Paying close attention to his message about restoring America with the diligence and somberness it deserves?
HAHAHAHA. Nah.
They were mocking him with snarky comments on Yik Yak, of course. Students at Liberty University started chiming in via their phones on the anonymous thought sharing app that’s massively popular with college students. Here’s some of the chatter, via Daily Dot:

College kids: No matter what school they go to, good luck getting a group of 18-23 year-olds to not be dicks about pretty much anything.
The 2016 Presidential Race is going to be fun…
