There were two very unique women who made it to the top 60 in the 2020 Sports Illustrated swimsuit model search: 58-year-old mom of two Jodi Harrison-Bauer and the then 55-year-old Kathy Jacobs.
Bauer, unfortunately, did not make it through to the final 16, but Jacobs not only made it that far, she ended up being one of six finalists and will be appearing in the 2020 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
The 5-foot-3 resident of Calabasas, California, now 56, has been modeling off and on and once appeared on the cover of Woman’s World magazine – 29 years ago.
“I have reinvented myself so many times,” Jacobs tells The Post. “I have been on the Today Show and Rachel Ray baking and doing crafts.” Jacobs competed in a 2017 episode of Steve Harvey’s “Funderdome” competition for entrepreneurs, hawking her homemade skin care line Beauty Batters. She has also taken humbling, minimum wage jobs, including sweeping up hair at Drybar.
Now she’s a 2020 SI Swimsuit model, but she’s the only one that recently sent her daughter (pictured below) off to medical school.
She’s also, just like models half her age, likes to rip it up on TikTok.

Meanwhile, this year, the SI Swimsuit cover photo went to 29-year-old Jasmine Sanders, 27-year-old Kate Bock, and 28-year-old former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo.
Bock is the girlfriend of NBA player Kevin Love, who reacted to her getting the cover by writing on Instagram, “So happy for you @katebock. Congratulations!!!”

While Culpo is currently dating Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, who wrote, “Congrats to the queen,” after the cover was announced.
