Essentially one year of the globe shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, life is beginning to return to normal, particularly when it comes to the entertainment industry.
This week alone, not only is Zack Snyder’s Justice League and the first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier set to drop but on Monday morning, the 2021 Academy Award nominees were announced, with Chadwick Boseman (Best Actor for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom) and Maria Bakalova (Best Supporting Actress for her work in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm) headlining the acting categories.
While a win for Bakalova likely remains a long-shot, most film experts think that Boseman is a lock to win his first-ever Academy Award.
