Codigo 1530 Artesanal Mezcal (MSRP $70)

Codigo’s 1530 Artesanal Mezcal is rested in sauvignon blanc wine barrels and comes to you from the San Juan del Rio region of Oaxaca, Mexico. This oven-cooked agave spirit is different than other mezcals because it is slightly smokey, and not five-alarm-fire smokiness. Codigo 1530 Artesanal Mezcal is sweeter than most with floral notes of honey right off the bat. The super-smooth, medium finish ushers in a woody, nutty, flavor with subtle hints of tobacco and sea air.

Kentucky Coffee ($20 MSRP)

First off, this ambrosial spirit bottled in Kentucky is dangerously delicious with coffee. That being said, this 33% alcohol by volume coffee-flavored whiskey is smooth, saccharine perfectly balances the rich body and mouthfeel of cutting coffee with caramelesque features of Kentucky whiskey without presenting fake flavors.
