Ana de Armas is kicking off the press tour for her upcoming action comedy Ghosted, which she stars in alongside Chris Evans.

Her first role since being nominated for Best Actress for her work as Marilyn Monroe in Blonde, de Armas stars as a superspy who must protect her name flame, played by Evans, after he’s been sucked into her world.

Gearing up for her junket interviews for the film, Ana de Armas shared a stunning photo of the work done by her makeup artist.

de Armas is certainly no stranger to press tours these days as she’s rocketed to the top of Hollywood’s A-list in recent years thanks to performances in films such as Blonde, The Gray Man (which also featured Ghosted co-star Chris Evans), Deep Water, No Time To Die, Knives Out, and Blade Runner 2049.

She also recently completed production on the John Wick spinoff Ballerina, which will hit theaters in the summer of 2024 and is set to be the first film in the Wick franchise not to star Reeves (although he will appear in the movie as Baba Yaga).

As for Ghosted, here’s the official plot synopsis for the film, via AppleTV+:

Salt-of-the-earth Cole (Evans) falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie (de Armas)—but then makes the shocking discovery that she’s a secret agent. Before they can decide on a second date, Cole and Sadie are swept away on an international adventure to save the world.

In addition to de Armas and Evans, Ghosted — which was directed by Rocketman filmmaker Dexter Fletcher — stars Adrien Brody, Tim Blake Nelson, Mike Moh, Marwan Kenzari, Anna Deavere Smith, Lizzle Broadway, and more. The film will release on AppleTV+ in the United States on Friday, April 21. de Armas’ next film, Ballerina, has been dated to release on June 7, 2024.
