Bodycam footage reveals missing retired Air Force General William Neil McCasland met with a shadowy Pentagon unit before vanishing in February.
An unnamed female witness reportedly told police that she and U.S. Space Force personnel had dinner with General McCasland the evening before he disappeared on February 27.
“I was shocked this morning when I saw the alert because what I noticed Thursday evening (Feb. 26) is that he wasn’t his usual self. He was kind of spacey and quiet, and you know that that happens with people,” the woman, who claimed to have worked with the retired Air Force general in conjunction with the nonprofit Kirtland Partnership Committee, said in the bodycam footage obtained by Law&Crime.
She added, “He was the head of Air Force Research Lab to the point the man’s names are in the UFO documents that are fixed to be released… He’s in that depth, so he has a very high security clearance.”
At Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, McCasland oversaw the Phillips Research Site and Air Force Research Laboratory. Additionally, he previously oversaw research at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, where the military’s infamous Project Blue Book investigated UFOs.
General McCasland’s wife also appears in the bodycam video
McCasland’s wife, Susan McCasland Wilkerson, who also appeared in the video, said that he had been prescribed a new medication before going missing.
“Today, he had taken a drug that the doctor prescribed last night that was supposed to help him sleep,” McCasland’s wife said. “With weight gain, he’s lost about 20 pounds for no reason, and with anxiety, today he woke up and said, ‘Well, I have got better sleep, but it’s like the after effects of a bad hangover. I’m just foggy. I can’t get any motivation to do anything.”‘
McCasland’s wife previously told authorities that she thought the retired general “had planned not to be found” after he last left his house without his phone, wearable technology, or any form of identification. Authorities also believe he took his .38 caliber handgun with him, as they have not been able to locate it since his disappearance.
General McCasland’s former colleague, Monica Reza, also vanished under mysterious circumstances last summer. The FBI is currently investigating a series of mysterious deaths and disappearances of people like McCasland and Reza, who had ties to secret government research.
