Britney Spears’ Instagram account has been filled with bizarre posts ever since she was finally released from her lengthy conservatorship in 2021.
The past couple of years have been quite a wild ride for fans who follow the 41 year-old pop star on social media.
At one point, things got so strange that police were called to her house after she deleted her Instagram account.
Now, with her impending divorce from husband Sam Asghari, Britney Spears appears to have become completely untethered on social media.
Spears’ latest Instagram video shows the mother of two dancing barefoot in a tiny crop top and bikini bottoms while waving around what appears to be sharp butchers’ knives in each hand.
“I started playing in the kitchen with knives today 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️!!!” she wrote in the caption to the video of her dancing and appearing to frighten her dogs with her gyrating.
After fans expressed their concern over the dangerous-looking video, Britney Spears added to her caption, “Don’t worry they are NOT real knives !!! Halloween is soon 🙈🙈🙈 !!!”
The knives may not be real, but the clanging sound they make in the video when she slaps them together sure sounded real.
Perhaps Britney Spears was just trying to imitate Shakira’s performance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards? No one knows.
TMZ previously reported that Britney has a fascination with knives and keeps them all over her house, including in her bedroom.
Two days ago, Spears shared a video on Instagram of herself wearing a pink bikini and dancing with a stripper pole to the Beyonce song “Don’t Hurt Yourself” – a sentiment many fans expressed after seeing the knives video.
Prior to that, Spears appeared wild eyed in her bathroom with what appears to be a scar from a cut on her arm in a video she captioned, “Playing in the tub.”
Then, Monday night, Britney shared yet another strange video of herself dancing around in white boots, a tiny crop top and pink bikini bottoms. (She loves those bikini bottoms.)
