In today’s Mad Online matchup, we have a doosie. The competitors: Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long and former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry.

Lets look at the player profiles:

Chris Long:

-6’3”, 270 lbs.
-2x Super Bowl Champion
-Son of Pro Football Hall of Famer Howie Long
-Became the first white player to publicly support a teammate’s anthem protest
Climbed Africa’s tallest mountain to raise money to help a primary school in Tanzania obtain clean water.
-Donated all 16 game checks from last season to equal education charities

Britt McHenry:

-Verbally berated a tow lot employee, saying things like “I’m on television and you’re in a fucking trailer, honey.”
-Claimed ESPN fired her because she was white and conservative.
-Described Craig Sager Jr. as “some kid whose only connection to media is his famous dad” two days before the anniversary of his dad’s death.

The Fox reporter pointed her vitriol at Chris Long on Twitter after he expressed his disapproval of the NFL fining teams whose players kneel during the anthem. This was the tweet that set McHenry off:

McHenry decided to change the subject and veer it towards Long’s charitable donations being, in her view, self-serving.

It takes a special distortion in world view to claim someone’s an asshole for donating millions to charity.

At the time of me writing this, Long has yet to respond.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
