Brooks Koepka is one of the best golfers on the planet, and is currently ranked No. 3 in the world in the current rankings, so the guy is definitely used to winning. From his four majors to winning off the course with his stunner girlfriend, Jena Sims, it seems like the 29-year-old Koepka can do no wrong.
Obviously that isn’t the case, of course, as we all get subtle reminders at times that nothing’s ever perfect. And one of those times for Brooks Koepka happened during his photoshoot for the ESPN Body Issue last year, where he got to show-off all the hard work he’s put in in the gym for millions of see.
After admitting that he purposely lost weight and tried to look his best for the sake of vanity — which led to people wondering how it’d impact his play — Koepka went out and still put on solid performances during the 2019 PGA Tour season, finishing with one major victory (PGA Championship) and a few other top-3 finishes. Overall, the ESPN Body Issue seemed like a solid experience.
That may have quieted some of his haters who questioned his decision to get slim and naked for a magazine, but there was one incident during the photoshoot that really got the best of Koepka — and it was an unintentional joke from a makeup artist about the size of his manhood.
While appearing on a recent Pardon My Take podcast, Brooks Koepka described the hilarious encounter, and, as it turns out, the makeup artist was relentless AF without even trying to be. Take a look below at the golfer’s story.
Per Larry Brown Sports:
“It’s actually a funny story behind this. So we’re doing this shoot on a golf course. They didn’t close the golf course down. My coach is giving lessons, people are playing. What they don’t tell you is the makeup artist stands literally right in front of you. Like frontal, like 10 feet away, like the entire time the shoot is going on,” said Koepka.
“So it’s getting late in the day, it’s cooled down a little, and it’s like 60 degrees and starting to sprinkle, and it’s getting cold. I haven’t complained all day and I kind of mutter under my breath, ‘damn, it’s cold.’ The [makeup artist] hasn’t said anything all day, and she just blurts out, ‘I can tell.’
“I was like, ‘are you serious?’ And she was like, ‘No, no, the goosebumps, the goosebumps!’”
Well, shit, talk about a major burn. Then again, what guy hasn’t been there before? I mean, we all know what happens when it gets cold down there — the damn thing shrivels up like a scared turtle just trying to poke its head out from a shell.
While Brooks Koepka got zinged hard AF in this instance by an unsuspecting makeup artist during his ESPN Body Issue shoot, it’s good to see that he seems to be able to laugh it off now. Still, even suggesting that a weenie looks shriveled up and tiny is never a fun thing for any guy to hear from someone else.
