After being featured on the soundtrack for Marvel Studios’ hit film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, legendary rock and roll star Bruce Springsteen has released a new lyric video for his classic tune “Badlands”.

Originally released on his beloved 1978 album Darkness on the Edge of Town, Badlands was ranked behind as the second-best Springsteen song of all-time by Rolling Stone, trailing only the iconic “Born to Run.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has proved to be a much-needed win for the previously faultless Marvel Cinematic Universe, as the launch of Phase 5 with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was borderline disastrous given the fan reaction to the film, its box office totals, and what has happened with Jonathan Majors since.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 — which is currently playing in theaters after releasing on May 5 — stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Will Poulter, Pom Klementieff, and more. You can check out our full review here.

Next up for the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the Disney+ series Secret Invasion, which premieres on June 21. Alongside Samuel L. Jackson in the lead role of Nick Fury, that series also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Charlayne Woodard, Killian Scott, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Christopher McDonald, Katie Finneran, and Don Cheadle.

The next MCU film to release will be The Marvels, which will hit theaters in November. Featuring Brie Larson in her second headline outing as Captain Marvel, The Marvels also stars Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellanie, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon.
